Leafs 4 - Wild 1

The second game in a row that the Leafs dominated. Out shooting the Wild 33-21. Have to give props to Wilson for the line changes, created a spark for the team from the first shift where Nazem Kadri scored and it continued throughout the entire game. Joey Crabb stole a move out of Matt Frattin's notebook using that power move to cut to the net and finish it off sliding the puck under Backstroms arm. Very pretty goal by the Alaskan Crabb. Kessel got off the snide finishing a dirty goal in front of the net, also the first power play goal in four games for the buds. Making sure there was no chance at a come back Lupul and Grabovski hooked up on a quick on to open the third where Grabbo directed the puck in on a crossing pass by Joffrey. Lupul had arguably his most dominant game of the season showing off his hands and vision on numerous occasions. The monster stood strong the whole game and kept the game scoreless until a weak goal on a bad angle shot late in the third which broke the shut out bid. Once again the PK stood strong, with the Leafs being more discipline lately it has taken a large amount of pressure of the units and keeping them fresh.

Stats for tonights game:

Joffrey Lupul- 3 assists
Phil Kessel- 1 goal
Nazem Kadri- 1 goal
Joey Crabb- 1 goal
Mikhail Grabovski- 1 goal
Tim Connolly- 1 assist
Jake Gardiner- 1 assist
David Steckel- 1 assist  (first in 66 games)

Keep Gustavsson going heading into Montreal for a chance to get 4 of 6 points this week and stay in the hunt for that elusive play-off spot.
